From November 2018 to August 2022, I was part of the International Bureau of NBC News in London as a foreign desk editor.

As a desk editor, I mostly verified breaking news worldwide, news gathered, managed our field teams, and make sure our 24/7 coverage was up to date.

As part of my job I also produced, cut and wrote original pieces. Pre-pandemic, I took the chance to draw from my knowledge on Middle Eastern politics by writing two pieces on the region: one on the Turkish invasion of Kurdistan and the second on the Iraqi tuk tuk revolution. More recently, it was Ukraine, Covid, Brexit.
